The particular building chosen in this study was a typical UK semi-detached house. The building was modelled in detail using IES-VE software and the model was validated using measured hourly gas consumption, electricity use, occupancy and indoor temperatures. Model validation with measured data and results analysis were performed using Excel. This study was undertaken in fall 2015. The attached Excel file contains 12 sheets. All were used as a part of the study. Both measured and modeled data refer to the case study building used in this study. See the paper appendix for more details. The following is a brief explanation for what each sheet contains: - Hourly: Contains the hourly-measured gas consumption from July 2014 to July 2015. - Total Monthly: Contains the monthly total gas consumption (KWh) for the measured data and IES model. This sheet was used to creat Figure 2 in the paper. - Occupancy behavior: Contains hourly measured gas consumption (KWh) for March, June, September and November. These data were analysed to clearly understand occupancy behavior inside the case study building. - December/June/March/September horly data: All these sheets contain data used for the model validation comparing measured gas consumption with IES model in relation with outdoor temperatures. - Daily/Weekly: Contain measured consumption daily and weekly for the case-study. - IES gas totals & changes: Contains the sensativity analysis changes applied to the IES model and explained in Table 2 in the paper. - Ranking list & conclusion: Contains data used to produce the ranking list applied in Fugure 7 and 8. In addition to the conclusion scatter plot showen in Figure 15.
