Reprocell 500, Reprocell 300 and LD40 Polyurethane foam mechanical and characterisation tests October 2016 - April 2017

This dataset encompasses the first phase of experimentation concerning low and high density polyurethane foam, from October 2016 - April 2017. The data, along with SEM and stereo microscope images, forms the basis of two journal papers. Three types of commercially available polyurethane foam were analysed: Reprocell 500 (high density), Reprocell 300 (medium density) and LD40 (low density). Mechanical tests consisted of Compressive, flexural, shear, creep and drilling resistance. Material characterisation in this dataset encompasses XRD, FTIR, DMA and STA. The dataset also contains rheology tests done on the liquid components here at the University of Bath and on the curing, mixed high density Reprocell 500 foaming liquid conducted at Malvern Instruments.
