The Climate Policy Ambition Index (CPAI) provides a comparative measure of national climate ambition across 35 major emitters from 1990 to 2020. The dataset includes two main files: (1) annual indicator scores and aggregated index values, and (2) the underlying policy documents used to derive these measures.
