Data was collected using the PhotoElectroChemical apparatus located in a research laboratory of Dr Salvador Eslava located in Dept of Chemical Engineering, University of Bath. Electron microscopy was conducted at the Microscopy and Analysis Suite, University of Bath.

An Ivium Compactstat pontentiostat with associated illumination apparatus and quartz sample cell were employed for photocurrent measurements.
