Relationship between files, if important: Each folder within the data represents individual measures completed by the same participants. Measures can be merged using the participant ID and session number. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic data collection changed from face-to-face testing to remote testing. To allow for remote data collection we reduced the number of measures completed by participants to the SEL and key mood measures (PHQ-9, BDI-II and GAD-7). The measures are reported in detail in our manuscript. 3. Additional related data collected that was not included in the current data package: Data that may have identified participants has been removed. All data necessary to replicate the results reported in the paper are provided. 4. Are there multiple versions of the dataset? No METHODOLOGICAL INFORMATION 1. Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: This study was pre-registered on Open Science Framework (https://osf.io/z9p8a), which details the study methodology and data analysis plans. Briefly, this study aimed to examine the association between change in social evaluation learning and mood over the first eight weeks of antidepressant treatment. Participants were primary care patients receiving antidepressant treatment under the care of their GP. They completed five timepoints of data collection; baseline (prior to starting antidepressants or within the first two weeks of treatment), two week, six week, eight week and six-month follow-up. At each testing session participants completed self-report measures of depression (BDI-II, PHQ-9), anxiety (GAD-7), and a computerised task measuring learning of social evaluations about the self, a friend and a stranger. 2. Methods for processing the data: All data was cleaned and analysed using R. 3. Instrument- or software-specific information needed to interpret the data: R version 4.0.5 4. Data specific Information Full details of the variables included in each dataset are available in the data dictionary.
