This dataset includes the data used for the article "Systematic approaches towards template-free synthesis of EMT-type zeolites". Within this dataset, there is powder X-ray diffraction data, scanning electron microscopy data and solid state magic angle spinning nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy data. Below is a list of the directories within the dataset, and what is containing within each of them. This is also included in the readme.txt file within the dataset itself. Directory "Article Figures" Contains .tiff files of all the images included in the published article Directory "NMR Data" Includes an excel file called "NMR spectra (EMT 18C6), which contains the raw NMR data, in addition to a collection of graphs. There is also an excel file called "Si SS NMR Calculations" which contains the calculations used to estimate the Si/Al ratio of a selection of samples with coherent resonances. Directory "PXRD data" Includes .uxd files containing the raw powder x-ray diffraction data data of the samples relevant for the published article. These .uxd files can be opened in a texteditor such as Notepad, or exported directly into Microsoft Excel. Contains an excel file called "PXRD - EMT with decreasing 18-C-6" which contains the .uxd file data in a spreadsheet, as well as relevant graphs. There is also an excel file called "Omega Value" which contains the calculations used to determine the predetermined 'omega value' explained in the published article, from the powder x-ray data. The method used to calculated the 'omega value' is also ellaborated in the "Data processing and preparation activities" section of this dataset. Directory "SEM Data" Contains the relevant scanning electron microscope images as .tiff files, from the published article. Includes an excel file named "EMT-FAU Particle Size Analysis", which contains the size measurements taken from the SEM images using ImageJ, and the calculations for the average particle length/thickness and error. There is also a text document named "Sample Numbers Ref" listing the sample codes used through this repository and the included files.
