Data and code for: Streamlined Column-Based Disaggregation Method for Carbon Footprint Quantification for Multi-Regional Input-Output (MRIO) Models
These files contain the disaggregation data and code used to break down EXIOBASE v3.9.5 2022 (P X P) for two sectors: the cement, lime, and plaster sector into its subsectors (cement, lime, and plaster), and the aluminium and aluminium products sector into primary aluminium, aluminium bars, rods and profiles, aluminium tubes and pipes, aluminium foil, aluminium plates, sheets and strips, and other aluminium products. It also includes the One-at-a-time (OAT) sensitivity analysis, generated figures, and output results, serving as supplementary information for the associated paper.

Documentation
Data collection method:
The dataset is created using the EXIOBASE v3.9.5 2022 (P X P) database. Relevant data, such as economic output and emissions is collected from sources like ecoinvent and PRODCOM to disaggregate the cement, lime and plaster, and aluminum and aluminum products sectors into more specific subsectors.
Technical details and requirements:
Python 3.13.5 was used on Windows 11 with Jupyter Notebook.
