Dataset for the paper Effectiveness of design codes for life cycle energy optimisation
This dataset includes the raw data from the online survey undertaken in October 2015 and analysed in the journal paper “Effectiveness of design codes for life cycle energy optimisation” and published in Energy and Buildings.
The data were collected via an online survey of 11 questions completed in October 2015.
The data is provided in an Excel format and as a tab delimited text file.

Data collection method:
Data was collected using an online survey hosted using Google forms and administered by Dr Ana Bras (research associate, University of Bath).
Data processing and preparation activities:
Data was reviewed by the authors. 12 invalid and incomplete submissions were removed from the data set by deleting their entire row. The remaining 66 submissions were used in the analysis provided in the journal paper.
