Validation of the Raman optical activity system using achiral references. Lissajous figures confirm RCP and LCP excitation at the sample position. Raman measurements of CVD diamond and crystal violet on an achiral SERS substrate show no significant circular differential response, demonstrating minimal instrumental artefacts and reliable polarization control.

Meta-Raman optical activity (Meta-ROA) of achiral crystal violet (CV), rhodamine 6G (R6G), and methylene blue (MB) molecules adsorbed on chiral Au and Ag nanohelices. Raman spectra under RCP and LCP excitation reveal handedness-dependent responses, with opposite Meta-ROA signals from left- and right-handed nanohelices.

Meta-Raman optical activity (Meta-ROA) of rhodamine 6G (R6G) molecules on left- and right-handed Ag nanohelices, measured under 532 nm excitation. Circular difference ratios are presented for both Stokes and anti-Stokes Raman scattering, revealing handedness-dependent chiroptical responses.

Meta-Raman optical activity (Meta-ROA) of crystal violet (CV) molecules on left- and right-handed Au nanohelices, characterized through circular polarization transfer measurements. Background-corrected Raman spectra for RCP→RCP, LCP→LCP, RCP→LCP, and LCP→RCP configurations are used to determine the normalized DCP1 and DCP2, revealing polarization-dependent chiroptical responses.

Dual circular polarization Meta-Raman optical activity (Meta-ROA) of rhodamine 6G (R6G) molecules adsorbed on left- and right-handed Au and Ag nanohelices. Background-corrected Raman spectra under RCP→RCP and LCP→LCP configurations are used to calculate normalized DCP1, demonstrating chiroptical responses across both plasmonic materials.
